Edmonds & Slatter Opticians is proud to celebrate a remarkable milestone for one of our valued team members. Clare Smith, Dispensing Assistant at the Lutterworth practice, has reached her 20-year anniversary with the independent opticians — an achievement that reflects her outstanding commitment, expertise, and warm presence within the local community.

Clare joined the Edmonds & Slatter team in 2006, quickly becoming an indispensable part of the Lutterworth practice. Over the years, she has built strong, lasting relationships with patients, many of whom regard her as a familiar and trusted face. Her knowledge, attention to detail, and friendly approach have played a key role in shaping the excellent patient experience that Edmonds & Slatter is known for.

To mark the occasion, Clare was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and a theatre-break gift voucher in recognition of her hard work and dedication. The presentation was made by Edmonds & Slatter Director and Optometrist Saagar Hirani, who shared his appreciation for Clare’s ongoing contribution by commenting “Clare is an integral part of our Lutterworth team. Her commitment over the last 20 years has been exceptional, and patients regularly comment on how much they value her care and guidance. We’re incredibly grateful for everything she brings to the practice.”
